I’m currently working on a Creative Practice PhD at the University of York in the School of Arts and Creative Technologies. My advisor is Dr. Louise LePage.
In my research, I examine how we write and imagine the futures of queer people through science fiction theatre. One of my particular interests is analysing how reproductive futurism has affected the imagined role of queer people in humanity’s future. Through my own writing and theatre projects, I investigate and trial methods for destabilising and challenging these narrative patterns.
